“There are three universes, but you are not meant to be in all of them,” said the seer bearing no cadence in his voice. His eyes, that did not see anymore, had been witness to the present and past of all the realms. “You are being hounded across the realms due to this reason,” he added further.

Raising his hands in the air, the seer opened his fist and in the middle of both the palms were the eyes that were witness to the present. Those eyes in his palm seemed considerate and serious. Unblinking, they observed me attentively. I had a choice to make for I was presented with two. I could take the flight or stay. If I were to stay, I will get all the answers to all the strange and wretched things that have happened to me recently. I stayed!

The eyes refused to take the gaze off me. I felt as though I was being intruded on. But I wasn’t as stunned as I think I was supposed to be at the sight of what was happening before my eyes. I felt as I was overtaken by the man’s hypnotic voice.

“No one being must exist in all the three realms,” the seer reiterated. “It heralds the doom of the realms. It had to be ended and so your doppelgangers have been tortured and killed.”

“But why torture?” I spoke softly and my tone was certainly not indicative of the fear I felt in my heart.

“They had to get to the Original. The Original must be terminated in order to save the three worlds. This is why your doppelgangers were killed.”

"My doppelgangers? Does that mean I am...” I was overtaken by fear even before I could ask that question.

“You are right! You are the Original and the Hunters are coming to get you”

Thus began my fight for survival!
