On My Way: Whether you’re on your way to meet someone, letting a friend know you got home safely, or just want company while walking alone at night, share your location with friends and family while traveling from place to place.

Choose contacts to follow your trip, and BlueLight will text a map of your location. Once you reach your destination, your followers will receive a text notification of your safe arrival, and location sharing will turn off.

Request Help: Faster and more accurate than dialing 911. BlueLight uses refined GPS to automatically route your call to the nearest emergency services, whether that be Campus Security, Ski Patrol or local law enforcement.

From a campus or city in the BlueLight network, the dispatcher gets your position without you having to speak. Out of network, your address appears over the dialer, so you don’t have to think or look around when the dispatcher asks you for your location.

Upon calling for help, you can choose to simultaneously alert your emergency contacts with an SMS containing a link to a map of your location.

The Request Help button also acts as a "dead man switch." Hold down the button when feeling unsafe; to call for help, simply let go.
