Text by Voice uses Google's text to speech engine to read your incoming text messages aloud. Any incoming text (SMS) message can be read hands free with the opportunity to reply and send. Text by Voice can even be initiated hands free using the hotword detection feature or by your Bluetooth button. Text messages can even be voiced out through Bluetooth speakers. The text to speech capabilities allow the message to be read with the option to reply, listen to the preview of the reply, and finally the ability to send the text message. All hands free!

Another exciting feature is that the text message can be voiced aloud only when it's desired. This is done via the voice command "Read Message" (customizable). If the voice command isn't voiced then the message will not be read aloud. Simple as that.
