Most of us are already weary about giving out our phone numbers to strangers, and for good reasons. It can be subjected to abuse by stalkers, advertisers, and can even be used to collect more personal data about you, without your consent.

Most end-to-end encrypted messenger apps require your phone number when you sign up, in order to gain access to your phone data, including your contacts' names, their numbers, and email addresses, to say the least. This data is often used by companies for marketing and advertising purposes, is not always well secured, and can therefore end up in the wrong hands.

There are lots of secure ephemeral chat apps out there, but the fact remains that people still can manage to take snaps with external devices or preinstalled software, even if your favorite encrypted messenger app offers screenshot notification or DRM protection. With our secure platform however, your true identity still won't be exposed (although you should never send a revealing picture with your face in it, if you truly wish to remain anonymous). That's because our app is not just an encrypted messenger application. It also allows you to change your primary identifier (user ID), and does not store messages on your phone in form of a chat log. Besides, the secure messages rigidly self-destruct once read (not delay options). Your contacts must have your user ID in order to message you on the app, therefore giving you full control. Unlike a phone number there is no worry in giving out your user ID to people for privacy reasons, because it can easily be changed. Once you change your user ID, the old user ID becomes invalid, and no one can use it to contact you anymore. It’s like being able to change your phone number as often as you wish, but without the hassle or the worry of having your previous user ID assigned to someone else.

Your encrypted messages cannot be read by anyone except the intended recipients; not even by us. We do not require your phone number nor access your phone contacts when you sign up.

Maybe you are an executive or politician who needs to often communicate confidential information to your team through an encrypted messenger app. Maybe you have just met someone you would like to stay in touch with, but aren’t yet sure about giving them your phone number. Maybe you are a journalist that relies on a source whose identity must be protected at all cost; or maybe you are looking for a way to secure your communication by preventing you recipients from sharing it with third parties; and the list goes on...

Please note:

★ For security reasons, you are not able to use this app to message someone on a regular phone number, email, or other apps.

★ While using poor Wi-Fi, messages sent to your device could be sometimes delayed.

★ When you upload a picture to send it, it never shows in the text field (stealth mode), but will be delivered.

★ Please beware that iPhone users can take screenshots per Apple's requirements, but you will receive a notification message to alert you, if this happens. While a screenshot of your text won't reveal your identity, be careful when sending private pictures.
